Ann C. Ting
President and Chief Executive Officer

Ann C. Ting, Ph. D., President and CEO, is a proven entrepreneur, having served as president and chief operating officer of Confer Software, a company she co-founded in 1994 as an entrepreneur-in-residence at Mayfield Fund. Ann took Confer through its successful merger with Quovadx (NASDAQ:QVDX) Inc., and stayed as the CTO and Executive VP of R&D. Before founding Confer Software, she held various senior management positions at Xerox PARC, Bell Labs, and GE. Ann holds her Ph.D. in computer science from Cornell University.

Dr. Ronald Chwang
iD Ventures America

Ronald Chwang is the Chairman and President of iD Ventures America. Dr. Chwang initiated the Acer venture investment activities in North America with the launch of a $40 million "Acer Technology Venture Fund" in 1997. Subsequently, iDVA's investment scope was further expanded after the successful formation of the second fund, a $260 million "IP Fund One", in May, 2000 together with new investment activities in key regions of Asia Pacific.

Dr. Chwang currently serves actively on the board of a number of iDVA's portfolio companies such as Airmagnet, Centrality Communications, Chil Sumiconductor, and CoAdna Photonics. He also serves on the board of the following public companies: Silicon Storage Technology Inc., Sunnyvale, CA and iRobot Corporation, Burlington, MA.

From 1992 to 1997, Dr. Chwang was president and CEO of Acer America Corporation. Under his leadership, Acer America's revenue grew from $200 million to $1.44 billion. Dr. Chwang has been with Acer since 1986, serving in various executive positions leading business unit engaged in ASIC products, computer peripherals, and Acer-Altos server system. Before joining Acer, Dr. Chwang worked for several years in development and management positions at Intel in Oregon and Bell Northern Research in Ottawa, Canada. Dr. Chwang received his B. Eng. Degree in Honors Electrical Engineering from McGill University in Montreal, Canada and his Ph.D. in EE from the University of Southern California.

Bill Unger

Bill Unger has been in the venture capital industry for 20 years. His focus has been on enterprise software and companies related to the semiconductor industry. Bill serves on the boards of Bandspeed, Papilia, and Lightspeed Logic, and is an advisor to several other private companies. Past investments include Sandisk (NASDAQ: SNDK), Silicon Architects, acquired by Synopsys (NASDAQ: SNPS), Newport Communications, acquired by Broadcom (NASDAQ: BRCM), Simplex Solutions, acquired by Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (NYSE: CDN), Verplex, acquired by Cadence Design Systems, Inc. (NYSE: CDN), Excess Bandwidth Corporation, acquired by GlobespanVirata (NASDAQ: GSPN), and Calico Commerce (NASDAQ: CLIC) acquired by Peoplesoft.

Les Wright
Chief Financial Officer

Les Wright, CFO, has 30 years of financial experience in Silicon Valley high tech companies. This includes over 15 years of experience as CFO/COO in successful public and private companies from start-ups to over $400 million in revenue. Les has helped companies successfully navigate the IPO process, follow-on secondary public offerings, and various types of private equity and borrowing arrangements, which have raised over $250 million in capital. In addition, Les has helped lead over 12 M&A transactions totaling over $1 billion. Les' executive level experience includes Infoseek Corporation, The ASK Group, Verplex Systems, Fractal Design and Pharsight Corporation. Les holds a B.S. in Business Administration (Accounting) from San Jose State University, (1990 Outstanding Business Alumni Award), and is a Certified Public Accountant (California).
